Open eClass 2.4.1 is the new version of the platform and is available from 06/30/2011. The platform was designed and developed by the GUnet Asynchronous eLearning group. Also, there were many useful ideas and nice contributions from various users and developers.

The platform introduces the following features:

• Support for user authentication via Shibboleth
• Add "Student view" in Course Home module
• Add message notification in Forums
• Support for math symbols in "Exercises" and "Forums"
• Define optional course password while creating a course.
• Various changes and bug fixing in Administration Tool.

Ideas or bug fixes are also accepted.
